Taller,” pronounced tah-yehr, means workshop in Castellano/Castilian.

My name is Camilo. Welcome to my Workshop.

I left Chile to visit the United States in 1974. Quickly falling in love with the country, I decided to emigrate, despite not knowing a word of English. I have worked in a fruitful career for over 40 years and have always been passionate about my hobby of making things with my hands. Some useful, some just because I thought they were nice or pretty.

After I retired, I took my hobby of sculpting and crafting to the next level and refocused my passion so that I could do what I love. I have a very strong technical knowledge backed by engineering education and an entire career of experience. My creativity and love of making and creating things is my passion.

I enjoy the art of crafting unique, one-of-a-kind, and custom pieces of artistic and useful decor and jewelry. My mediums often include metals such as bronze, glass, wood, or combinations of the three. The pieces are almost always based on movements, sounds, or light. My latest sculptures all have names and are based on real and memorable people or events in my life.
